here to serve when you are ready.

What is behavioral Coaching?

We recognize that while behavioral coaching, counseling, and consulting all aim to help individuals and organizations improve, they operate with distinct focuses and methodologies.

  • Behavioral Coaching primarily concentrates on identifying specific behaviors, setting goals for change, and developing actionable strategies to modify those behaviors for improved performance and outcomes. It's present and future-oriented, focusing on skill development and habit formation.  We understand that God is sovereign and in control. We also understand that thought, choice, and action play a crucial role in shaping the human response, ultimately leading to a cause-and-effect outcome.  Habits that are not serving can be changed by elevating the importance, addressing the root cause, investing effort, dedicating time, and receiving support.

  • Consulting involves providing expert advice and solutions based on specialized knowledge in a particular field. Consultants analyze problems and recommend strategies or implement solutions to address specific organizational or business needs.

  • Counseling delves into emotional and psychological well-being. It often explores past experiences to understand present feelings and behaviors, aiming to promote mental health, coping mechanisms, and personal growth through therapeutic techniques.

  • Professional Coaching Approach Our coaches may occasionally ask your permission to share relevant subject matter expertise. Please feel comfortable declining; your autonomy in the coaching process is paramount. Our primary role as your coach is to support you in discovering your own answers. These insights are not judged as right or wrong; instead, they are the building blocks of your unique life experience. We firmly believe that you are the expert in your own life and possess the deepest understanding of what's best for you.

Is coaching right for you?

We would love to help everybody, but the truth is we cannot. Behavioral coaching goes beyond a quick fix. If you answer 'yes' to any of these qualities, we may not be the right fit for you at this time. We recommend that your first step be counseling, psychotherapy, or psychiatric treatment.

🤔 External Motivation Only: Individuals who participate in coaching solely because someone else (e.g., a spouse, employer, friend, family member) wants them to, without any internal desire for personal growth.

🤔 High Resistance to Change: Clients who are deeply entrenched in their current behaviors and have little to no desire to change, even if they acknowledge the negative consequences.

🤔 Victim Mentality: Clients who consistently see themselves as victims of their circumstances and are unwilling to take proactive steps to improve their situation.

🤔 Severe Untreated Mental Health Conditions: Individuals struggling with severe depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, or personality disorders may require therapy with a licensed mental health professional before or in conjunction with behavioral coaching. Unless partnered with other credentials, Behavioral Coaches are not equipped to address the depth of these issues.

🤔 Passive Participation: Clients who expect the coach to provide all the answers and are unwilling to actively engage in self-reflection, experimentation, or taking action between sessions.

We encourage you to invest in yourself.

Nobody will do it for you! When you put financial skin in the game, coaching elevates your experience and desire to make the necessary choices for change.  People work with a coach to achieve their goals faster!
